Over the Hills and Far Away: A Treasury of Nursery Rhymes Giveaway! #spon

We are happily working with Candlewick Press to bring moms and dads quality picture books for their children!

When my oldest was young I would search for nursery rhyme books with favorites that I loved as a child and still love today.  I could never find one.  Yes, there are loads of nursery rhyme books and quite honestly, I have most of them. (seriously, you have no idea) This one, Over the Hills and Far Away, is my favorite and my go-to book for gifts!  There are different artists for every page.  This treasury is illustrated by more than seventy celebrated artists and some of our most favorite classic and multi-cultural rhymes and new ones we had not read before.

Collected by Elizabeth Hammill and so many of our celebrated artists!

Some of our favorites -
Mary, Mary, quite contrary.
Miss Lucy Had a Baby (do you remember doing the clapping that goes to this, when you were little?)
Miss Mary Mack, Mack Mack (remember this one?)
Seasons - January brings the snow, makes the feet and fingers glow....
Kookaburra
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
Star Light
Wee Willie Winkie

And not my favorite, but makes my little one crack up laughing (every. single. time) -
"As I was going out one day, my head fell off and ran away..." *sigh*  Every. Single. Time.

These are just a few of our favorites and doesn't near begin the variety in this collection.

Just a few artists included - Eric Carle, Niki Daly, Sara Ogilvie, Axel Scheffler...

We have a hardcover copy to giveaway!  US residents only.  Prize is shipped by publisher, we are not responsible for shipping, use or reading to your children!
